I am size 9Uk in running shoes, i had to return these in size 9Uk in exchange for 9.5Uk, and they are fine, except my right foot is slightly longer and my left foot slightly shorter..balances out at the end of the day. These are made according to International sizing guidelines, as opposed to UK guidelines such as the New Balance M734J26.

GOOD,DECENT HONEST LIGHT-WEIGHT TRAIL SHOE, IF CONSIDERING A PAIR OF THESE TRAIL SHOES, I WOULD RECOMMEND BUY AT LEAST A HALF, TO A FULL SIZE LARGER THAN YOU WOULD REGULARLY & AND THAT YOU SERIOUSLY COINSIDER THE WIDER SIZE, ESPECIALLY IF YOUVE ENCOUNTERED PROLEMS WITH STANDARD SIZE TRAINERS BEING NARROW FITTING TRAINERS IN THER PAST. I'VE GOT TO ADMIT THAT HAS BEEN AN ISSUE I'VE HAD IN THE PAST, SO ORDERING THE WIDE SIZE THIS TIME, I CAN CONFIRM THE FIT IS MARVELOUS. ONLY GENUINE CONSTRUCTIVE CRITISIM I WOULD ADD IS THAT, I NORMALY BUY SAUCONY TRAIL TRAINERS & NIKE ACG TRAIL SHOES, AND WHEN I COMPARE THE SOLE IN EACH OF THESE SHOES (I'M REFERING TO THE SHOCK-ABSORBING EFFECT), ON THE BASIS OF HOW COMFORTABLE THEY FEEL I'D RATE THESE IN 3RD PLACE, IT SEES THAT FAIRLY DENSE MATERIAL HAS BEEN SELECTED TO MAKE THE SOLE, THIS IN PARTICULAR IS EVIDENT ON THE BALL OF YOUR FOOT AFTER LONG APPROACH TO MOUNTYAINS ON ROUGH TERRAIN. THAT SAID, I PAID ALOT MORE FOR NIKE AND SAUCONY WERE & NONE OF THESE OFFERED A GORETEX LINER FOR THE KIND OF MONEY YOU CAN PICK UP A PAIR OF THESE BABES! WORTH THE PRICE AMAZON ARE CURRENTLY CHARGING.
These trainers are very well made and are very comfortable to wear. I have read many reviews on various websites, (including their own )about New Balance sizing. I ordered a full size above my normal size ( 10 instead of 9 ).When I tried them on out of the box, I thought they were too small, but thought I would give them a chance.The first time I wore them , they seemed a bit tight, although comfy.After the first wear, I was amazed how they seemed to fit my feet a lot better, and on subsequent wears, they feel wonderful.I would recommend these trainers for the comfort & fit. I have not worn them in rain, so do not know how they stand up to wet weather, although having a Goretex lining, I would imagine they will keep your feet dry.I have worn them when the weather is reasonably warm,and was pleasantly surprised that my feet did not overheat, (a plus point as always for Goretex ! ). I would recommend these trainers, but definitely order a bigger size, your normal size will not fit !!!

Not waterproof. Definitely not Gore-Tex.
