Purchased these trainers because they are a high end trainer at a bargain price.
They look really nice, however the only problem was the usual New Balance sizing's ISSUE. For some reason New Balance have UK size 8.5/US Size 9 when just about every other label has UK 8.5/U.S 9.5. Something is out of place here and I would say it's the UK sizing that is half a size smaller than labelled.
In other words probably best to order half a size larger than you normally would.
I ordered the usual 8.5 and they are again closer to an 8 and it was borderline whether I kept them. Due to the cost of sending them back and the time this would take I decided to keep them. I am sure they will size out to my feet after wearing them a few times.

These are great training shoes, but keep in mind that are made only for overpronators. This means the midsole has support for stability.
If you are neutral, then go for the MR1080 model.

I ordered "New Balance Men's MR1226SG Trainer", but got "MR860RS Trainer". This shoe is very good and I have enjoyed them during my long runs. Not as good as MR1226SG, but they have worked fine. I have used them so far about 100 km. I reported to Amazon, that they sent me wrong shoes, but haven't got any answer.

Check your toe nail is covered by the leather lower NOT the mesh upper
Bought New Balance MR1080BW for my birthday they look great in the box...10 wears covering 30 miles TOTAl and my big toes are through on both shoes... Read more
