3.0 out of 5 stars Good shoe, runs narrow and 1/2 size small 24 Mar 2013

Great shoes if you plan on using them only for track. However, they run narrow as well as about a 1/2 size small. So order accordingly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for a Mud Run 15 Jan 2013

I purchased these shoes to compete in a mud run obstacle course. I completed the 5.5 mile race with no blisters. The shoes are light and the canvas material drains the water efficiently. I did not use the spikes, but the shoes worked perfectly for my needs.
3.0 out of 5 stars good to run in now and then 28 Aug 2013

good backup shoe or change or pace. the sole is real thin, like wrestling shoes, so if you're into that sort of thing, great wear them more often, but i'm pretty flat footed so this can really only be a once in a while thing for me.

I am using this for speed training on track and some times on trail. It has proved itself to be very light, comfortable and smooth fit. It is about a month since I started using it 2X a week and I still love it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Who needs $120 minimalist shoes when you can buy XC flats for half or less! 11 Nov 2012

New Balance is fantastic. Not only do they build a quality product for a reasonable price in America, but they offer wide sizes on most products. I'm using huaraches or running pure barefoot as often as possible. After long runs, I'll use lotion on my feet and walk around in NB XC flats, or Minimus in a wide size. Wide sizes are the key. Barefoot runners feet naturally "relearn" to splay out at the ball of the foot, feet seem to change shape and get wider.

I've put up several videos on this topic, search my name on youtube if you want to learn more about minimalist running, etc.
