The opening track sounds like the music under the opening titles of a movie, which is not that strange since Fellows has worked on movies before. Minimalistic piano, nice instrumentation; it's hard not to think of Feist and Regina Spektor. There's definintely some similarity, they also make good use of the words they sing.
Fellows is married to John K Sampson who turns up on one of the best tracks, a beautiful track about a spinster looking back on her life. Easily the best track on the album.
I very much enjoyed this CD, but it's a little too long, especially since the best tracks are all in the first half.
