Cathy Kelly's third novel differs from her first two in that she has three main characters, rather than two, however this is not a bad thing. While her first two books were rather similiar with similiar characters, this one has three very different characters - Evie, Olivia and Cara, three women who are very interesting and who you will love. READ THIS BOOK!

this has to be one of the best cathy kelly books i've read so far.
it follows the lives of three female characters who all question themselves, eachother and their partners. it is a fantastic read
and it would be great to have a follow-up of evie's life.

Why are Amazon offering this title as 'not yet published' when if fact it was first published in 2000. Many people will think that this is a new Cathy Kelly book and be disappointed when they find it isn't. Amazon should ensure that a note is put in the description to ensure that people realise this is not a new book, just a re-published old one!

I hated the characters
Evie was bossy, shrieky and very, very immature. Olivia was a tired old pushover and i can't believe Cathy Kelly wasted all her energy on this dreadful plot! Read more

one of those books once you've started you can't put down
Although a bit misleading at the start the novel soon developed into one of those stories each of us could relate to at some point in our lives. Read more

Brilliant read!
Her best yet. I didn't want it to end and rate her writing alongside that of Maeve Binchy and Patricia Scanlan.
