To supplement her income, Leigh hires on as a vet technician working with her former crush Dr. Mike Tanner. Mike used to work for Leigh's father. Her interest in the doctor is rekindled, but this time he seems to reciprocate her feelings.

One late evening after a tough surgery, Leigh spots a light in the tiger exhibit. She investigates and finds dry blood and body parts. Covered in blood, Leigh runs to get help. She thinks the victim is her old nemesis Carmen. The police charge Leigh with murdering her old enemy. Though frightened by it all, Leigh begins making inquiries to prove her innocence.

Any one who knows Leigh Koslow realizes she is fictional proof of a corollary to Murphy Law as she seems to always be in the wrong place at the wrong time. NEVER SORRY is a shock a minute as this amateur sleuth is impossible to predict what she'll do next. Edie Claire keeps her audience on edge with her ability to produce one stunning event after another. Leigh is a likable character who will get inside the reader's soul and root for her to escape from her current woes. Ms. Claire is a wonderful story teller who provides a superb addition to the mystery genre.

A Captivating Story! 29 Aug 2000
By Donna Rizos - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
After finishing Miss Claire's Never Buried, I was looking forward to reading the next book in her series. Usually, the second in a series is not quite a good as the first. Boy, was my assumption wrong! Never Sorry was a wonderful read. Leigh Koslow is back with her best friends in a mystery that will keep you reading until late into the evening. While working part-time at the local zoo, Leigh stumbles across a gruesome "surprise" in the tiger cage. Miss Claire is not graphic in her descriptions (thankfully!) of the crime scene, but your imagination will run away as you read the story. Leigh has another crime on her hands that she must solve for her own good. Add romance, wild animals, great friends, and a few psyco's from her past and you have the beginnings of a fabulous mystery! This book deserves six stars!

A Winner 11 July 2000

Format:Paperback
NEVER SORRY follows NEVER BURIED as the second Leigh Koslow mystery.

Leigh is a copywriter who is trying to get her new agency up and running, but until she can recruit more clients, she has to take a job at the Riverview Park Zoo to make ends meet. It's there she meets up with Mike Tanner, an old crush, and other "blasts" from the past. When the remains of a body are found by Leigh in the Tiger exhibit, Leigh gets herself trapped in a deadly game of "whodunit" that only her cop friend Maura, and her political candidate Warren, and her lawyer Katherine can help her out of.

This is a riveting, mind-blowing book with an ending that will leave you in shock. This book is well written, and the plot is perfect for any mystery-lover. The characters are well formed and very easy to picture. Leigh comes across as a caring, strong-willed amateur sleuth. I loved this one, and with the cliffhanger Ms. Claire leaves at the end, I can't wait for the next one.
