Never, Neverland is the second album by heavy metal band Annihilator. It was released on September 12, 1990 on the Roadrunner label. This is the 1998 re-release with demos as bonus tracks.

Excellent follow up to the "alice In Hell" album, new singer but it doesn't show. At a time when Metal was starting to lose it's way this album really put the cause back on track. Every track (with the exception of the dreadful Kraf Dinner) showing maturity and progress from the last album. This album also contains the song with the most musical changes in one song I have ever heared! I am, of course, talking about the title track "Never Neverland". Buy this album if you enjoy your metal as it should be, not pomp and nonsense, just a good solid metal album!!!

the opening song "welcome to the fun palace" shows whats to come in this album..... full on 80s metal. from a guitarists point of view , this is one of the best albums ive ever heard, jeff waters really shows his ability on this album. Annihilator "never, neverland" is a must for anyone into metal

The album starts off with "The Fun Palace" which has nuances of "Alice in Hell" and is just as good but has Coburn Pharr on vocals. Coburn has a better range than Randy Rampage and can move between coarse and smooth vocal lines with ease. Musically the album is still astounding and it doesn't take a long time to get used to Coburn Pharr's vocals as they compliment the music rather well. The next track is "Road to Ruin", it's a socially conscious cautionary tale against drink driving and it is done very well. The lyrics are well thought out and convey the message very well. All the tracks are of a high standard and totally enjoyable. My favourite track is "Imperiled eyes" and is in my humble opinion the strongest song on the album. "Kraf dinner" is a humourous look at the dietry requirements of a would be rock star who has to make every penny count and it is really funny. This is a strong second offering but the element of surprise was spent with "Alice in Hell" as it was spectacular debut album that took the Thrash world by storm. Annihilator are ground breakers and leaders in the field of extreme metal but they are also innovators who don't shy away from melody and softer hues and nuances. If you love your metal varied and interesting Annihilator are for you.Never Never Land: Remastered
