3.0 out of 5 stars Too short - even for a short story 29 Nov. 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This short story by Edie Claire is part of the Leigh Koslow series. Although I am quite enjoying the series, I have read three full length stories so far, I was disappointed with this short story. It does seem very short, yes I know it cost less than a £1 but even so. I also found the plot frustrating, I had the impression that I had read something very similar before and I knew very quickly what was going to happen.
Try the full length stories but don't bother with this.

Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
If you are thinking of getting this Don't its not worth the money, i know its a short story but this is super short and has no standing with the rest of the series of books, if you don't read it you really won't miss it. Thanks

3.0 out of 5 stars A Very Short Story. 24 Sept. 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This fits into the Leigh Koslow Mystery series, as almost an afterthought. At only 21 pages long maybe it should be free; it doesn't really add much to the whole story so it's up to you to decide to buy it or not.

3.0 out of 5 stars Never Neck At Niagara 22 Feb. 2013

Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
A short story which features the same character from the Leigh Koslow mystery series of which I am a fan, but this book didn't quite hit the spot as the other full length books in the series, whether it was because it didn't feature any of the other characters or maybe because the story didn't feel as well rounded or entertaining. Quite enjoyable if you are after a short story but I would suggest one of Edie Claires other books over this one as an introduction to her writing.

Good story but, as billed, short. Fits with the rest of her works, so if you liked those, this will suit you too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good easy read 5 Dec. 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Love these books in the Leigh Koslow series you would think they would get boring after a while as they are all roughly about the same thing but that is what is good about them because you start to know all the characters in the books so it is easy then to get into them. Would recommend as they are not expensive, good read and are all quite big books.

4.0 out of 5 stars Amusing 24 Oct. 2013

I'm not too keen on short stories as I don't find that you have long enough to really get into a story but if you've read the others in this series then you will like this story as it's in the same style, as usual Leigh stumbling into a murder and then trying not to be murdered herself.

3.0 out of 5 stars Too short 5 Dec. 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I knew this was a shortie but when I read it I felt it was too simple: there wasn't enough time to develop the mystery/red herrings etc. that have made the other Leigh Koslow books so interesting. Still glad I bought it though.

A short story - I missed this on the description and thought was full size, but a great little adventure for Leigh, as usual she gets herself in deep water, literally!!

2.0 out of 5 stars Too short!!!
The story was over before it even started. Only took minutes to read, although it cost less the a normal book still not worth it. I do love Edie Claire books normally!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Never .... series
Light hearted fun, along the same lines as the others in the series. An easy non-demanding read, but with a good story line to it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great quick read
Didn't expect that to be so good as it was such a short read. Left me wanting to read more and get to know more characters.

3.0 out of 5 stars okay short read
Again a bit of a sloppy romance but has a bit of intrigue within it, can be a little predictable though
