Format:Audio CD
I just want to make sure, anyone that wants to buy a follow up to Oakeys Goa Mix or Fluro knows now that regardless of the sleeve hype this aint it!!! Infact this is not anywhere near a follow up. Yes there are some tracks that have been remixed from the original fluro album but this is a straight up, Gatecrasher, hard trance, double CD, mix.....Which is not a hugely bad thing. I am just a little dissappointed that rather than creating an interesting compilation, we have 51 tracks sewn together in a standard way one after the other, that could have been achieved using a computer with a beat matching program. Wheres the cracking on the vinyl like GU 007 mix? Wheres the film influences from the Fluro mix? Wheres the classical influences from the GOA mix? And my last gripe both CD's end what seems half way through a track and fade out! Overall the tracks are good, its banging trance from the first track on, but there is not a great deal more to this mix, which is a huge missed oppurtunity after the re release of Oakeys Goa mix in my humble opinion.

I got this today and have been totally blown away with it so far! This CD is Paul Oakenfold all over, its not a cd full of mainstream trance which you get with most mix cd's. This is full of proper underground trance, no cheese here!!
This guy brought us trance originally and this CD proves that after the decades he's been on the scene, why he is quite frankly a legend.
Guys and Gals you need this "must have" cd in your collection!

Format:Audio CD
Having grown up with Paul Oakenfold as an iconic DJ...and enjoyed the amazing period from 1990-2000 when he ruled (Dom Phillips famously calling him the DJ's DJ!!!), I really will him on to produce another classic mix. Unfortunately this is not it. Given people like Above and Beyond now do Trance much better, I almost wish he would go on to champion a new sound...and produce one more classic mix. Please?

Great but not memorable
