Having bought the UK release of Until There's Nothing Left of us, i couldn't wait to get hold of this album, and i wasn't disappointed. Although if like me you have already purchased the UK release of Until There's Nothing Left of us you'll find that you'll already have a few of the songs on this album. Don't be put off though it's definitely worth it with great songs such as New Heart for Xmas and Unwanted. The CD is enhanced, which is an added bonus.

I also discovered the amazing Kill Hannah Kollective through this band, far more than a street team but a community full of ideas and enthusiasm both towards the band and its promotion as well as its members. I urge any Kill Hannah fans to check out the Kill Hannah Kollective, and anyone considering buying album should go for it and give the band the support they deserve.

From the squealing Gretsch on the opening track of "They Can't Save Us Now", it is obvious that you are hearing something that finally cracks the mold of the 3-chord Orange County drivel that has strangled the dials of radios across the country. With the sultry undertones of a prowling panther, lead singer Matt Devine's tortured, yet oddly addictive and sly lyrics will instantly appeal to the underground of kids who swear their parents don't understand them. The first radio hit "Kennedy" shows off some fascination with all things glamorous and tragic. Kill Hannah actually offers rich charachter development and evokes personal feelings with their well thought out lyrics. My personal favorites on the release would be "Raining All The Time" and "10 More Minutes With You"...both anthemic songs that feature the band's trademark wailing 3 guitar tonal attack and evoking the need to pound one's fist in the air. Having known Kill Hannah since the days when they played street fairs and opened for bands that now don't exist, I knew this band had the professionalism and work ethic to reach this point in their careers. As long as radio programmers get paid enough money to give this a deserved spin, the tidal wave of interest, both domestic and overseas, will likely be enormous. I wish them nothing but the best and will flat out say this is a must-own offering. Killer hooks, tape-loops, cannon-like drums (think Jimmy of the Pumpkins), triple tone attack, well-timed power chords, professional production and artwork. Hooked on Sonics should have been the name of this release! Best part of the story is that the band puts on an unbelievably professional and draining live show. 5 Stars.

If you only know their newer stuff this album is well worth checking out.

They are so addictive you will love them forever
