Whilst the concept of "Don't cold-call, as it's dispiriting and largely a waste of time" is sledge-hammered home, the examples that the author constantly refers to as being online are not, in fact, available, as the website appears to have been disabled / taken down. As far as I am concerned, this makes the whole thing a complete con. All the reader is left with is the self-aggrandisement and ego of the author in every chapter, with very little detail to back up the claims of the author's own personal success. Plus, every time I now switch on my computer, I get really annoying pop-up adverts, advising me to 'never cold call again' and to sign up for an expensive training course from the author. My advice? OK, so don't cold call - and you should instead be selling via the internet and social networking, as that's the old 'work smarter not harder' cliche - but this book doesn't tell you specifically how to go about it and, as I said previously, there ISN'T any online support with this book. DO NOT BUY!

Would I buy this book again? No I don't think so as I found it to be really a self promotion vehicle for the writer and I learnt very little from it. A bit disappointed!

This is a comprehensive overview of internet marketing techniques with plenty of what to do, BUT NOT how to do it. Lot's of "how I became a multi-millionaire" by selling his books and consultancy and although partly relevant, less directed at people selling real products and hardware. I regret that I have further contributed to his wealth as most of the information is readily gleaned for free from the author's various web sites!
