Having bought this cd i had been weary from reviews i had read of it, but it wasnt a dissapointment, nearly every song sounded great. Mixing sweet harmonies with shouting it balanced out right, even if the lead singers voice isnt as powerful of that of Gen from Defenestration. The live tracks were good too proving that this band arent just studio junkies. Buy this cd now before they get too famous ^_^

Ignore the current reviews on Amazon of this record. I'm someone who was firstly a metaller (Flotsam and Jetsam, where are you now?) and have listened to roughly a million metal records of very varying quality. My musical tastes a decade on include world (Africa and India, especially); experimental music; contemporary classical; anything feminista in any music with a kick-ass attitude etc etc. The above means that I like now to gravitate to only the very best of each genre and without going into a tedious musicological slog through Never Born, it strikes my humble battered ears as a sheer rush of an album, charged up, pissed, rampaging. Buy it.

Never born is a extremely mediocre album, which is a shame, because a lot of the Sugarcoma demos i have heard I really liked a lot. The song Bed Of dolls, sounds completely out of time in parts as if it were put together on the spare of the moment. The songs sound very similar...start of with soft vocals and go into grunting. I was so eager to hear this album, but as i said i was dissapointed.

Best danm album 29 Nov. 2001

This album is a great step in metal. Alternative, punk, hardcore and funk combined. Weather you like Sum 41, Slipknot, or Blink 182 this is a great album. They use weird new effects with the guitar and the drums are nice and fast. I would strongly recomend this to kittie fans.
