Book Description

22 Nov 2005 0443100365 978-0443100369 3
This is a short highly illustrated textbook of neuroanatomy that throughout makes clear the relevance of the anatomy to clinical neurology. It avoids overburdening the reader with topographical detail that is unnecessary for the medical student. Minimum assumptions are made of existing knowledge of the subject.

This book simplifies the subject making it easier to get the depth of understanding that you want. Concise, not too much waffle, just gives you the facts that you need. I used it for 2nd year medicine and it got me through it.
Good level of science with clinical situations thrown in too.
Good illustrations of lesions at different levels make picturing what is going on.
Good job,

5.0 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT FOR NEUROLOGY TRAINEES 24 Jan 2006
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
If you're starting out as a specialist reg in neurology, this book is a must have! It clearly outlines neuroanatomy with excellent colour diagrams, and is the best stepping stone to being able to name the structures on an MRI brain. You could read and learn all it has to say in a few days, but what you learn will stick with you for life!!!

My course pretty much uses this as a standard coursebook. It's not an amazingly well explained book, but did everything I needed.

Great book. I use it for medicine and it explains things well and the illustrations are really useful. It isn't the most in depth book, but probably all most people need.

5.0 out of 5 stars a quality book
the book flows well, it's an excellent and fun resource to learn neuroanatomy from, but it hasn't that much on clinical neurology.
