Product Description

When a tech rep in charge of an avionics retrofit at a U.S. Air Base in Germany comes up missing, Jake Adams, a former Air Force intelligence and CIA officer, is hired to find him. Was the man selling vital technology for the new Joint Strike Fighter? Back in a changed Europe, Adams struggles to survive in a world where profits are more important than past ideologies. Conspiracy, murder, espionage and mystery lead Jake Adams from an aircraft carrier off the coast of Italy, to the chilly banks of the Rhine. Can Adams keep the technology away from ruthless German and Hungarian agents? First he must save the woman he loves, and then stop the Fatal Network...

From the Author

A Jake Adams Novel
I spent more than 11 years in the military, first as a weapons expert on the flight deck of aircraft carriers, and then as an officer in the Air Force, where I commanded more than 500 troops. Jake Adams, the protagonist of Fatal Network and two other novels yet to be released, is a combination of many of those fine military members. The novel is fiction, the spirit is real.

Jake Adams is well on his way to becoming the next American hero. He's smart, mysterious and witty. If you like reading Tom Clancy's books, you'll love this first in a series of techno thrillers featuring Jake Adams.

The book should appeal to many people since it includes thrills, espionage and even romance. Jake Adams takes you on an adventure through Germany, Italy and other European locations in search of a missing American tech rep. As the former CIA agent unravels the mystery, it becomes more complex. Just when you think you have the mystery solved, the plot takes surprising twists.

I'm looking forward to the next Jake Adams adventure.

This is a very fast paced action thriller! It has very detailed information of the locations of the characters. So well written that it makes one feel like they are there with the characters.

I dislike not finishing a book and boy was this one of them. I am not able to write myself, and feel awful criticizing, but this did not hit the spot. Was hoping it would. Maybe some of his other titles might, but will leave it a while till I do. Sorry Mr Scott....
