I bought this product imagining that installation would be simple. Firstly the instructions were inadequate and bore no resemblance to the process run by the disk installation. The online help available is minimal and little better than the toilet paper sized instruction leaflet that comes with the purchase. Additionally the Netgear help desk, although committing lots of time to my case, has failed to demonstrate even an awareness of this product, nevermind how to make it work. Would not recommend anyone who is not supremely techy to touch this. Over a month since purchase and I still haven't got it working despite spending over 12 hours working alone or with Netgear support.Netgear Wall Plugged Wireless-N Powerline AV 200 Extender Kit

if you already have AV200 ethernet pack no need for base unit just the avbn2001 extender as the units are fully compatable.
Easy to set up, now getting perfect secure wi fi signal at furthest corner of the house.
