I bought this for my two sons (aged 7 and 10), they love it and have got a lot of fun out of it and of course it's educational. My 7 year old struggled a bit with the excercises and spelling, but he has enjoyed giving it a try. My 10 year old quickly sailed through most of the levels. It's very clever as whenever you get a spelling right your 'Nessy' (which is like a friendly dinosaur) gets something to eat and so he grows and grows as the 'game' goes on. It's not just spelling excercises, there are other literacy games as well. However, I do think it's quite expensive for what it is, as there isn't that much to it, it's a bit limited as far as I can see (we haven't done the top level yet!)but it's a good investment if you want to encourage your child to do spelling excercises and it also gets children away from the usual mindless computer games. With Nessy they feel like they're playing a computer game but they are gaining educational experience from it, perfect!!
