The machine

All Nespresso machines are equipped with a patented extraction system that guarantees up to 19 bar pressure. Each element - water pressure, temperature and extraction duration - has been calculated with great precision. This ensures the aromas from each Grand Cru coffee are expressed, giving the coffee body and creating an exceptionally thick and smooth crema.

The Pixie is the smallest Nespresso machine, and features a host of innovative and practical features. The Pixie is fast, with a heat up time of only 25-30 seconds, so you can enjoy your Grand Cru coffee without having to wait.

The machine is easy to use and intuitive, featuring water level detection in the one litre removable water tank. Interactive lights can be seen through the capsule container so you know when the water level is low.

The Pixie requires less descaling than ever before and has convenient cable storage. It is also environmentally aware, with recycled aluminium side panels and an energy saving auto power off which activates after nine minutes. In stylish titanium, the Pixie is sure to make a statement in any kitchen.

The coffee

The hermetically-sealed aluminium capsules provide the optimum conditions to preserve and prevent oxidation of the 900 extremely volatile and sensitive aromas found in freshly-ground coffee. Simple in appearance, the capsule is the subject of continual technical improvement to optimise the machine’s extraction of the coffee.
