This is a strong black coffee. In fact it is currently one of the strongest coffees which Dolce Gusto produces - the other is Caffè Grande Intenso.
I will admit that this is far too strong for my personal tastes, but there are members of my family that have their coffee that strong the teaspoon will stand upright in the cup without any other support.
It is a one pod drink which makes approximately 40mls of (what I am told) is a smooth and, as the name implies, intense flavoured black coffee.
My family members who like this drink have told me that this is not something which you would drink every time you reach for a coffee, but it is one of those that you would have as a special occasion drink, such as after a dinner party or special meal.
Because this drink does not have a pre-sweetened milk pod and contains 0.1g of sugars this drink could be suitable for diabetics.
Remember to register your pod points for the special offers on further drinks pods. Dolce Gusto also supplies cups, saucers, spoons and other accessories.

I like a good coffee where the flavour remains a long time and this espresso intenso certainly achieves this. The Dolce Gusto machine is one of the best on the market and I can recommend it. However, when looking for the coffee pods required for this machine, buy them from Amazon as they work out cheaper that buying them direct from Nestle.

nice n strong
Very nice coffe for a very nice expresso. Its a pity we cant buy this capsules in any supermarket in the uk, like I used to in spain or italy. But amazon is here to help us!
