4.0 out of 5 stars Stunning, 16 July 2005

I don't know why I don't give this album 5 stars... to do so would be wrong because I think I am the only person I know who owns it. I got it after seeing one of their gigs in Aldershot's West End Centre. I am listing to Father/Mother as I write this and its brilliant, musical and there are packed with loads and loads of brilliant original lyrics. His voice is very British slightly shouty but the music is British punk rock with slow moments. Its NOT it Radioheads or Pealr Jam's league however they are better than Muse and Bush. I am now listing to Bitter Soul... sweat slow but the guitars are pounding away on the chorus... get it if you can find it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great album. manic st. preachers/stereophonics hybrid, 9 Aug 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Nervous Disposition (Audio CD)
An undiscovered/lost gem of an album, coming on like a heavier (early) manic street preachers colliding with the stereophonics at their most raucous moments. I don't know much about the band as they seem to have released 4 singles, a mini album and this one but each release bristles with power & passion light and shade, reeling you in then kicking you hard and fast leaving you wanting more. The vocalist may not be the greatest singer but he sure sings with unbelievable passion & that wins my vote anyday. Only question is-Where are they now?
