I'm amazed at the mixed reviews here. I use Nero 6 reloaded for all my CD/DVD burning and have never had any problems whatsoever. I reckon I've only wasted 2 or 3 Discs in well over a year. It's obvious that there are some compatability issues with some Burners.

This program is worth its weight in gold. Instantly copy files onto CDs or DVDs at the click of a button; effortlessly! I have had no problems with the usage of this program and would recommend it to anyone considering buying this product. Easily worth five stars.

First the positive I have never had a coaster using this or any other version of Nero (this applies to CDs with older versions and mostly DVDs with Nero 6 Reloaded).This may in part be attributable to careful choice of media and use of conservative burn speeds.
I bought Nero 6 Reloaded as I had a new OEM DVD writer that my old Nero did not recognise.There are lots of little bits packaged with Nero 6 Reloaded and a new interface that I also did not need. With hindsight I would have bought a new OEM version of Nero for a couple of quid and used it in conjunction with other software that I already had.

Faster byrning than the rest !
I use Roxio's Easy CD&DVD creator 6 and have just bought Nero after burning a disc on a friends pc with it. I was surprised how much quicker it is than Roxio's effort. Read more

Try MyDVD instead. Fork out for a professional editing suite. Take up golf. But don't bother with this mish mash. Everything is promised; NOTHING is delivered. Read more
