How does one explain Neon Genesis Evangelion(NGE).
To encapsulate the story of NGE one must of course first point out that it is far from a run of the Mecha (giant robot) story but is in fact an insight into humanity.

Set in a post apocalyptical world Ikari Shinji and his fellow pilots the mysterious Ayanami Rei and the fiery Asuka Langley Soryu battle monstrous creature the so called "Angels" using the Evangelions a creation of mans science.
As the story leads us along the path Shinji-kun has to tread we discover that the hardest battle indeed the only true battle is not with the angels but perhaps with ones own sprit.
Neon Genesis Evangelion book 3 is a worthy continuation of this epic tale but indeed I need not say this because if you have books 1 and 2 you will already have this title on your wish list.

Rei Ayanami; the first child. A withdrawn and mysterious character with strange pale beauty. A past unknown to us, and even to members of NERV itself. Until now we have really only seen Rei in the background. Now we see her as the main focus of this novel and an aspect of Shinji's father, Gendo Ikari's, relationship with her.
Contiuing a somewhat revealing episode in the Evangelion series, we learn about some of Shinji's past too. As well as how, after a brief embarrasing moment that Shinji will never forget, he and Rei's relationship too begins to develop.
Together with thrilling action and deep plot, this third novel begins to involve the reader in a way we have not seen up to now. Emotional pasts, shocking revelations and a smile for the first time all provide engrossing reading.

This is one of the best in the series iv red. The story is about robbot like creatchers called evangelions (evas for short) they have only one objective to protect neo tokio from type of robots that are evil and are out to destroy and kill every thing that is living they are called angels. The evagelions are cept on a secret base how is run buy Commander Ikary, the commander is there to call the shots in the ferce battle of the to creatchers. The Evas are piloted by a group of young chilldren how have enhanced abilities to run the evas, they run them throw mind control which makes them super fast which makes them deadly. The evangelion series is a great one to read for furst timers readers of manga and i hope this encourages other people to start reading
