Genesis 0:11 of this spectacular animated series contains two of the best episodes. Episode 21: The Birth of NERV This episode shows the history behind the organisation responsible for the EVA series, and features the histories of some pivotal characters, mainly Gendo Ikari, Shinji's mother Yui Ikari and Kozo Fuyutsuki as well as detailing how everything was founded, the egnimatic masterpiece that is Anno's Neon Genesis Evangelion introduces new intrigue to keep you at the same, expected level of suspense and surprise. Episode 22: At Least Be Humane! In this episode the second child Asuka Soryu faces a dilemma, as her arrogance and presumption leads to her devastating defeat by an orbiting Angel with invasive telepathic powers. Her loss fuelled by her jealousy of The third child takes her deeper into her inward degeneration and bitter hatred towards... everything.

This is one of the best videos cause the darker side of the evas is revealed. An angel attacks Nerv headquarters and Asuka must fight right outside the Geofront however the angel is to strong and the only one who can stop the angel is shinji but then the runs out of power. This is a very disturbing video especially seeing what the eva does to the angel. This is a important tape for anyone who collects eva cause it deals with some of the mysterys but I would recommend watching 09 first cause the story will make more sense.

Simply brilliant, NERV's Darker side is highlighted in these classic episodes as the series begins to reach it's climax. Although the greater part of the video is talking heads, it only serves to add yet more depth to the characters and highlight the savagery of the final moments. No film, book or manga has ever left me feeling anywhere near as chilled as the last scene of this video. A masterpiece whether you like anime or not be sure to buy this series.
