The Neo G Medical Grade Open Knee Support features a patella opening with stitched buttress giving reinforced support to the patella and anterior knee. The device isolates and restricts movement of the patella and helps relieve tension in the patella ligament, especially beneficial in conditions involving dysfunctional patella tracking, such as chondromalacia patella. Since the support encompasses the entire knee joint, it improves overall stability by eliminating unwanted glide and twisting at the knee. Instructions for use
1. Position kneecap in centre of support
2. Wrap middle strap behind knee and secure fastening
3. Repeat with top and bottom straps and adjust until firm
4. Ensure the support is not uncomfortably tight and blood flow is not restricted

As you get older, your knees need all the help they can get- and this brace can help a lot. It uses two sturdy velcro straps to hold it in place and keep it from sliding around. Several other features of this brace:
-you'll probably sweat less in it than other braces because its made to be breathable
-the cut out hole for your knee cap seems to be reinforced around the edges- unlike some braces where its just a hole with no extra support
Get it if your knees feel like a little extra support would do them some good- I don't think people with knee arthritis will be disappointed. Remember though, the brace supports the knee, and doesn't do anything to strengthen it and get it into better shape- highly recommend checking out Treat Your Own Knee Arthritis for that. Good luck!

I had part of my meniscus removed a year ago, and after a wobble 6 months later, my knee took another 6 months to get strong enough again to start playing 5-a-side.
Was still feeling the odd tweak during games until i bought this. It's lightweight, doesn't slide out of position and it's comfortable. It doesn't get hot and minging like other neoprene products either.
Keeps the knee stable and on the move you won't notice it's on.

I hurt my knee in a fall several years ago and now have occasional cruciate ligament problems. These don't happen often enough to warrant medical intervention (plus I'm chicken) but when it's bad I need extra support for my knee. This product is by far the most comfortable, best fitting and effective support I have bought. I have tried several over the years but this is the only one I would recommend. It will fit anyone as it is totally adjustable. I have big knees and it even fits me! My skin is dry and comfortable when I take it off and it provides secure, comfortable support and stops my knee "Popping". Great. If you have a dodgy knee, try this.

Good support for running, a little cumbersome
My husband used these for marathon training and the actual marathon. He was generally pleased with the support but said they took some getting used to. He felt supported.
