The Neo G Medical Grade Jumpers Knee Patella Band features a Medical Grade silicon pad designed to be worn directly below the patella, over the patella tendon. This acts as a buffer over the point of tendon insertion on the tibia, allowing dissipation of forces going through the patella and tendon. The support can be used for relief of pain associated with any patella tendon irritation and inflammation caused by occupational or sports activities. It is designed to help normalise patella tracking and reduce unwanted or excessive movement of the patella. Heat therapeutic neoprene improves local blood flow essential to healing, and the adjustable strap provides a custom fit.

1. Position soft neoprene protrusion (curved side up) directly under kneecap
2. Slip fastener through plastic buckle and tighten until firm but comfortable and then fasten securely
3. Ensure the support is not uncomfortably tight and blood flow is not restricted

This neat little strap goes around your knee, right below your kneecap over your patellar tendon. The velcro makes it easy to adjust and apply, and it puts just the right amount of pressure on the tendon. Simple.
I suspect this thing will work best for people that have knee problems where there is some tendonitis in their knee, and perhaps where the kneecap is going out of place (the strap pushes down on the tendon which seems like it would hold the kneecap down more firmly). Other helpful knee products I liked include Treat Your Own Knee Arthritis.

I am currently training for a half marathon and was recommended this. Works very well and I no longer have any pain in my knee when running!

Excellent quality strap - I play volleyball and as a middle blocker I tend to jump a lot! This strap is really helpful - I would definitely recommend it (I wouldn't recommend the Mueller knee strap though, I bought both to see which one was best and sent the Mueller one back)
