The easy and completely harmless way to rid your garden of one its most troublesome (and hungry) pests.
Packed in an easy-to-use powder form, Nemaslug contains a species of microscopic worms called nematodes which feed on the slugs and kill them.
Simply dissolve the pack into the required amount of water, and spray over the soil.
One application lasts up to six weeks, and there's no need to re-apply after wet weather.
This pack will treat up to 40 square metres. The product is live, and has a shelf life of up to 4 weeks. Refrigerate on receipt, and until use. Nemaslug will remain effective for around 6 weeks, and will need to be re-applied throughout the growing season.

This is a fantastic product. I used it for many years on my old smallholding and now in a far more manageable domestic garden. I have small children and keep chickens and cats. I am concerned not to cause them any harm while still controlling the slugs. Even though many slug pellets say they are not harmful to children and pets I feel far happier using nemotodes which are a natural slug predator rather than a chemical product.
You keep it in the sealed packet in the fridge until its ready to use (it looks like a microwaveable meal packet!). Once you open it it consists of a fine dusty powder that is the dormant, microscopic nematodes. You follow the simple directions for diluting it to the right strength and simply pour it over your garden in a watering can. Don't use it when its too cold or when the nemotodes may dry out quickly and, hey presto, in a few days no more slugs! No unsightly and worrisome blue pellets around your garden either.

This product is amazing and really works - if you apply it as it states on the packet. I have used it for several years now and when I use it I don't have slugs and when I forget or get lazy - everything gets eaten by slugs. Its great stuff.

During 2007 my vegetables were decimated by slugs. I tried egg shells, copper wire - everything. In 2008 I tried Nemaslug and what a difference. I shall be buying it again this Spring.

Early Days
It's early days yet but it's looking promising, certainly seem to have less slugs/snails then in previous years and I'm about to order a second lot for a repeat treatment.

Down with slugs!
The ideal thing for protecting decorative flower beds against these perennial pests. This will be the second year that I have used it - very effective.

Doesn't seem to be working
Difficult to assess how effective this is but there's still plenty of active slugs around. Comparing treated plots with untreated there isn't a clear difference. Read more

Slugs still ate my sunflowers
maybe my expectations were a bit high and maybe the slugs did crawl off and die somewhere else but they still managed to munch my sunflowers. Read more

Dont think it works on snails
I think the slugs may be dead havent seen any but the snails are having a party and in the treated areas so I think they are ammune
