The setup disk that it came with it was damaged had to use another computer to download the drivers from the website which could be a big issue if you have one computer you are looking to connect to the internet I imagine you only be buying one of these if there is no wireless access . but it did work with no problems when set up. I know other reviews have complained about the disks being faulty

The drivers for Windows 7 were corrupt - the setup.exe file would not run and the autorun did not auto run (it was not a problem with my system as I put in another disc which did auto run). I am not surprised, the quality of the CDROM was poor - looked like an old mirror on the edges - and it had just been dropped between some thin card in the package and left to move about freely (the CD wasn't even in its own cheap paper wallet).

There where no instructions on how to install the device - usually you plug in the device after installing the drivers but others you have to plug in after installing the drivers and rebooting your PC. Was a reboot necessary? I don't know!? Now isn't that the reason why you put in a basic quick guide?

You can download the drivers online - which is a problem if the reason why you are buying this device is so that you can get online!

This is cheap and nasty - I strongly advise you not to buy this.

Oh - and it took over 10 days to arrive, the longest I have ever had to wait for an item from an Amazon seller to be delivered.

Does it work? Good question as I am having to download the drivers from another PC but based upon things so far I cannot imagine it being robust enough to last all that long if it does work.

This is your typical cheap nasty stuff from China that is totally devoid of any customer oriented help.

No Mac Support out of box 12 Jan. 2013

Tried to save a few bucks and ordered this instead of a more expensive product from a more recognized brand. Plugged into my Mac running 10.6.8; can't get the machine to recognize the device. Unable to locate drivers online, and can't get drivers to load from the mini-CD included in package.
All have the same mac address 2 Jan. 2013

I bought 3 of these but I can't use them all. Every device was programmed with the same MAC address, in violation of the standard and meaning the traffic can't be properly addressed to each device on the same network. Other than that they seem fine so far, assuming I only use 1 at once.
Works great on MacOS 20 Nov. 2012

OK Before we get off strong... I want to point out that this is not Perfect. the construction is a little cheap and it does not have and LED light to let you know network connectivity when you plug it in. and it also does not support access to the Apple store " It does not pass authentic verification" but it does support all the SMB:// and basic sharing and 10/100 speed. so for a basic NIC I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
