its not joking when it calls itself small but that was exactly what I needed for doing close ups of jewellery. With such a small tripod you need to be careful when bending the legs that you don't put all the weight in one place as it will topple over. For such a cheap item you would expect it to feel cheap but it doesn't its very sturdy, I was very impressed.

It does work decently well, but a couple of issues, most importantly it can be a little awkward to get those bendy legs into the right position, takes a surprising amount of trial and error and practice. As well, lean it too far one way and it doesn't balance. But, other than that, it gets the camera into all sorts of useful positions for filming.

As long as you don't expect a professional piece of equipment, you'd have no reason to be disappointed. The legs can support a decent amount of weight but I wouldn't risk using it with anything more than a cheap point and shoot camera.
