5.0 out of 5 stars Behold! Felting 17 Mar 2008
I wanted a book that covered both machine and hand felting and that is what this book does. I also did not want a book full of silly, gimicky projects. Well I have to admit that there are some projects in the book that I simply would not do but the point is that each project teaches you a fundermental concept. When you read the instruction given for the project , you can conceive similar ideas for more useful items. It is an ideal book for the new felter as it gives the background knowledge as well. In fact, after reading the clear way it is written, I felt like an old hand at felting before I had even put a needle to cloth! Lastly, the clarity of the pictures is very good with lots of glorious colour to wet your appetite.... Yes, I think the book is worth the 10 I paid on Amazon.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting information 4 Feb 2014
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
The materials to use & the techniques are explained & illustrated very well. Some of the projects are a little simplistic but the book offers a stepping stone to creating your own designs by needle felting. Well worth a look.
