This is an enjoyable documentary focusing on the myriad of villains from DC comics over the years. All the major players are covered with a look at their most infamous actions, their motives and psychology.

The list of contributors to the discussion is very impressive. Theres a who's who of DC Comics including Neal Adams, Marv Wolfman, Geoff Johns, Brian Azzarello, Scott Snyder, Jim Lee and many more. Various executives and producers are also interviewed along with voice artists from DC's various animated productions, Zack Snyder and Michael Shannon from the recent Man of Steel flick and even CM Punk (although sadly only briefly). The doc includes loads of art and clips from various comics, TV shows and movies. Everything from The Super Friends cartoon to Arrow and Smallville to the aforementioned Man of Steel get a look in.

The downside is that there are so many characters and stories crammed in here that theres no real depth to much of it. It's interesting stuff but just not enough detail for my liking. It works best perhaps as an overview of DC comics output over the last few decades (including the New 52) and if nothing else does give the urge to crack open a few old comics and track down some new ones.

They made a good call on having Christopher lee narrate; such a villainous voice. Pretty good seen a more in depth looks at some of the villains.

Not as thorough as I has hoped and drags slightly with too much time and in some cases not enough, spent on talking about certain Characters.
