Product Description

Review

It's impossible not to fall for Faith Zanetti. She has a great sense of humour - and this is where journalist Anna Blundy really shines, because it requires nifty footwork on the part of a writer to produce a funny thriller without diluting the thrills and trivialising serious issues. Sharp and hilarious (GUARDIAN)

Speaking of books, I read a great one. It's by a writer called Anna Blundy and it's about a detectivey journalist and it's set in Moscow and it totally captures Russia and is good fun and gripping and well-written and interesting and moving and I enjoyed (Marian Keyes)

She [Faith Zanetti] is the ultimate anti-heroine . . .A witty page-turner which keeps you laughing, and guessing, right to the end (SUNDAY EXPRESS)

A funny, clever thriller (LITERARY REVIEW)

Book Description

The thrilling adventures of Faith Zanetti, war correspondent.

Format: Paperback
Anna Blundy gets the feel of present day Moscow, its inhabitants and their predicaments brilliantly. Well plotted and gripping this is the best of the Faith Zanetti series yet - I just hope the ending does not mean it will be the last! Check out the surreal but actually realistic hunting-from-a-tank in the Arctic scene - masterly.

Anna Blundy does not disappoint here - the same strong heroine, funny dialogue and all-around good read! I recommend this series to anyone (starting with "The Bad News Bible"), but especially to the "thinking" woman tired of fluffy, sugar-coated reads. This is fun and smart too - just like the title character! Neat Vodka

Another good read and another adventure for Faith Zanetti. This is the third in the series of books and the characters have developed well. Some of the Russian background is similar to her first novel "Only My Dreams" but nevertheless makes entertaining reading.

If you like Anna Blundy and hard-headed, hard-drinking, witty reporters with a good knowledge (but little illusion) of today's Russia, this book is for you. Great read.

Sincere, unbiased, thrilling. In this book I have discovered another writer who reminds me why I like reading.
