As far as Special Forces films go Navy Seals isnt bad, but as most SP films go due to lack of intelligence and the governments denile of SPs exsistence Film companys are never going to get it right, People take films alittle to serious at times, if films were dictated as they would happen for real most films would be boring, For action Navy Seals is good, Actings not great but i think thats more to do with the dialouge more than the actors themselves, Plot not exactly original but plays out okay, overall if you like military films its great, if not then... well you can guess, me i think its good and has earn't a place in my collection

I have known this film since I was a kid , so nothing unseen !! Love the start when the team get a wedding interrupted for an op in the mediteranean with captured US chopper pilots .The team save them in the nick of time with a great... 4 point entry with black cladd gear and MP5 SD6 carbines or if you prefer SMG`S .
They stumble on stingers and the rest of the movie is in part about getting them back with a fantastic , daring mission in the middle east !Charlie Sheen is great in this for starters as is the rest of the cast . Navy seals have since gotten more famous and its a good thing I think , a special forces unit , good by real merit and today combat competency against the odds ,and not good by a farcical , easy Iranian embassy siege 30 years ago by the Brit SAS .God bless the NAVY SEALS !!

If like me you expressed an interest in the SEALs after the recent Bin Laden news then you can do a lot worse than this film. As far as I understand the script was written by Chuck Pfarrer who was an element commander in SEAL Team Six - the team associated with the Bin Laden raid. Reading other books about the SEAL teams it appears that a number of true life locations and operating methods are reflected in this film and Michael Biehn has been honored by the SEALs for his realistic portrayal of SEALs in several films.

This is one of the greatest films out there. There is only one film which rates above this, and that is Top Gun. The action is great, the photography is great, the music is great. Read more

Good Action film with some funny entertament parts as well
I first saw a bit of this film on sky and then I saw the hole thing on channel five. I thort it was spectakuler. My favrite part in it was a golf seen. Read more
