Navman's menu system is very easy to use. Simply type in your destination on the colour touch screen and let your iCN 520 plan the best route for you. You can also select different on-screen views and data, as well as 2D or 3D maps to track your journey in real time. You can download speed cameras, other points of interest and additional maps and map data via the PC connection.
The iCN 520, driven by Navman SmartST" software, is packed with superb features including 3D map view, voice guidance, postcode search, Back-on-Track" rerouting, 'Avoid Areas', so you can dodge the traffic 'hotspots' and an extensive Points-of-Interests (POI) database. A new feature to SmartST" is 'Active POIs'. This function allows you to set an alarm to tell you when a particular POI is approaching and also allows you to navigate to your nearest one, e.g petrol station. SmartST" also provides deliver ongoing journey information including ETA (expected time of arrival), Distance to go for journey, Distance to go to next turn, Time to go and Miles/Km to go.
