5.0 out of 5 stars Navman PIN 26 Oct 2006
By Karl
This is my first sat nav device and I have owned it for a week now...very impressed.

Despite other users having problems setting this device up; i found it very straightforward; GPS locked on within a few minutes and the 3D map is great.

It does only allow you to type in 4 digits of your postcode but this is not really much of an issue as you simply need to also input the streetname of your destination.

The re-route functionality (for when you take a wrong turn) i find to be very efficient.

Add to this the fact that you also have PDA functionality; this really is a great buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Navman PiN 570 29 Jan 2006

What a piece of kit for the price! Today I tested it using the built in Smart ST to drive sat nav to the North York Moors. Then I used memory map 1:25k to sat nav a walk around Kepwick. First class accuracy on both counts. However when setting up memory map with the built in GPS set the manufacturer to NMEA (not Navman), the port to com8 and the baud to 9600. Then you will be flying. All this and Word, Exel, and all the other features. What good value- buy it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome 21 May 2006
By Chesil
Great bit of kit for the money! Bought it for the GPS and it does the job fantastically, - the voice instructions are so good I've put the unit in a bum bag with headphones (reciever poking through the zip) and used it on the bike - a lot chepaer and safer than the dedicated biker GPS's. Cool!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great piece of kit, really like it.
First off you get a decent GPS rolled into a reasonable Pocket PC PDA. So if you use Exchange email at work you can sync it up to that and get extra functionality. Read more
