This mount has been in use in my car for several months. I find it is far superior to the windscreen/airvent models.It is easy to set up and to pack away, Nor does it move about on top of my dashboard.

navitech friction mount/beanbag and clip 20 Oct 2011

I didn't want to use the windscreen suction mount and decided to purchase the navitech friction mount/beanbag and clip for my garmin nuvi instead. I've only had it for a short time-so far so good (time will tell how long it will stop in place-before it starts moving about on the dashboard) but it seems like a very good piece of equipment and I think it will be a long time before any problems show up (several years I hope). A well worth it purchase.
