This is a very superior product, good quality and well made. The phone slots in neatly and is securely held, with no undue strain on the socket. The spare battery also fits in very neatly and the whole thing looks very good. It charges and syncs via the USB cable without problem.
It is supplied with two leads, one marked "Data only" and one marked "Power Only" which connects to a 3-pin UK plug. There is only one socket in the back of the unit and the "Data only" cable does in fact charge as well as carry data when connected to a USB socket so I don't see the point behind the separate mains power charger. There is no logo on mine and the instructions, such as they are, are written in the usual chinglish.
The obvious downside, and why I couldn't give it 5 stars, is that the phone is held on its side. Although many applications change orientation automatically, the home pages do not. You have to get into the idea of twisting your head to see the time or select a menu item.
Although listed as being in stock when I ordered, it took 10 days to arrive.

Arrived very promptly, the dock is very nice to look at and fits the Desire S snugly inside it, The LED indicator for a spare battery charging works perfectly and you can tell when it's fully charged.

This is a sensibly designed desktop charger for HTC Desire S mobile and its spare battery if you bought one. This means you can choose to simply charge your spare battery and keep your phone on you if out and about or, when you get back to stick that in it too, thus it is a lot easier to ensure you always have a charged battery/phone.
It sits on the desk and uses a USB lead that connects either into the mains plug it comes with or directly into your computers USB socket, so it also is incredibly flexible, and for those on the move / travelling means you dont need to take the plug with you just the lead, for example to work and stick in work computer. These smartphones are hungry beasts!!
The phone connects easily into it as does the battery and it has the side effect you also can view your phone easily as it is tilted approx 45 degrees to the desk.
All in all, a bargain and well made and I recommend it.
