Navigon MyRoutes

Whatever kind of driver you are, Navigon MyRoutes recommends the best route adapted for your personal driving style as well as the time and day of the week. Up to two other routes are also offered.

Reatlity View Pro enables the drive to see a realistc simulation of a road
Reality View Lite and Lane Assistant Pro

Reality View Lite shows roads not as lines, but realistically, with asphalt and road markings. This makes it easier for you to maintain an overview of motorway junctions and exits.

Lane Assistant Pro displays the best lane to take well in advance of the next junction taking into account three, instead of two, subsequent driving manoeuvres – so you won’t need to cut across a multi-lane carriageway at the last minute.

Traffic information features give you alternative routes when there is congestion
Traffic Information and Speed Assistant

TMC Routing information shows you an alternative route when traffic congestion is announced, with an updated distance calculation and arrival time. You decide if a diversion is worthwhile or if you would like to keep to the original route.

TMC (Traffic Information) comes from the field leaders, Traffic Master, and shows you an alternative route when congestion is announced, with an updated distance calculation and arrival time.

The speed assistant and safety camera tells you the current speed limit and warns you with audio and visual warnings if you exceed speed limits and are near a safety camera.

Clever parking helps you to find a parking spot
Clever Parking

Clever parking helps you to find a parking spot by displaying nearby parking areas shortly before reaching your destination.

Text-to-Speech

Not only reads out distances, but also the names of roads and exits - to ensure that you can concentrate on the road.

Emergency help tells you within seconds where important locations such as the police, hospitals can be found
Emergency Help

Emergency help tells you within seconds where important locations such as the police, hospitals and more can be found - when it counts.

Smart Speller

Smart speller only shows you letter combinations which actually make sense. Fzoutxh Street and other such nonsense are now a thing of the past.

I've been a fan of Navigon for some time now, if only because their sat navs are very polite. Rather than 'Turn left in 100yds' it'll say 'Please turn left in 100yds'. Another thing I really like from Navigon is their maps, the road you need to use is highlighted, and the rest of the map uses pale colours. It's much easier to follow when actually driving around.

The screen itself is clearer than most, with sufficient backlighting that it's visible even on very bright sunny days. The speaker is loud enough to be heard over music and roadnoise. The interface has been improved over previous Navigon systems - the information at the bottom of the screen is now white on black (and bigger) which means you can actually read the text now! Battery life could be better, you can probably get 3-4hrs depending on the backlight intensity. The new bracket is very impressive. Like previous Navigon systems you not only have a sucker with a lock (much better than just a sucker), but also a ball-joint for the satnav itself. So you just stick the satnav to the screen, and then tilt and rotate as necessary. It's brilliant in it's simplicity and elegance.

The 'reality view' feature is largely pointless, at least on UK roads. All of our junctions are more or less the same, so when the view comes up you can't see the road ahead anymore - a shame since almost all junctions join roundabouts. Fortunately Navigon have fixed that little issue with their previous satnavs (which would only tell you the exit when you're basically on top of the roundabout) by voicing and displaying the exit you need after the junction you need to take. So before you're even on the sliproad, you'll often know exactly where you're going.

i used this sat nav for the first time today and it reilly was helpful in many ways to make me a safer driver. although the only reason i had it was for the live traffic updates which worked reilly well and also the speed camera warnings was great also.

i had a becker which I think is the best sat nav maker out of all of them but didnt have the traffic on it.

this is very reliable with postcode search and is accurate in its destination. reality view is very good also.

i found the touch screen is slighlty unresponsive sometimes and looks cheap compared to my becker which looked professional and quality.

its very quick to catch on to the satelites and the tmc is quick to work. although to get the options that u want is confusing if you dont know anything about sat navs or your not technical. the seeting for the tmc traffic is hiding in settings, then traffic, then options.

i only found out that by looking through all the options. otherwise you wouldnt know it was there
the sound is very good, nice and clear, camera warnings are clear and the traffic anouncments are clear also even though its short.

the 2 year maps free guarantee is great and 1 years camera updates.

overall its a great product for the money. i think its better than a tomtom. u have to buy this even if its for the free traffic for life. its got most things on this that a tomtom has but for half the price.

the tmc is built in to the cigarette lighter charger so no need for extra modules like the tomtom. you also have the option of automaticaly re routing when there is traffic or you can do it manually.

Have used it in London several times and I am very happy with its performance. We planned a holiday in Europe and we'll review it again when we'll come back!

Navigon4310 max set upwas easy straight out of the box, just as well as there is no printed manual included with your purchase.be honest would you read it first anyway? Simply hook up to internet and follow link to the Navigon site register the product and its all plain sailing from here. With mine there was a promo code to update the maps for 24 months. It did not work so a e mail was despatched to the Navigon support team.A couple of weeks later I was sent a new code and all is up to date now.Performance of the unit is great instructions are clear and so far 100% accurate. The re routing is good so dont worry if you take the wrong turn you'll son be heading the right way.All in very pleased

I purchased this Satnav from Amazon only few weeks ago and immediately used it on a road trip from UK to France and switzerland. It worked great both with visuals as well as taking me to all places without any confusion.

Highly recommended.

I purchased this last month to replace an earlier model whose software had failed. I loved everything about it (great display, easy to use, stylish)BUT after two weeks half of the European maps just disappeared and after three weeks it would not allow me to enter a postcode to set a destination. Tried a reset and also restored my back up with Navigon Fresh. Maps returned but still a problem with the postcodes. Navigon Support tried to tell me that it only accepted the first 4 digits of a postcode - clearly rubbish as it had accepted the full postcodes when I bought it. Navigon Support are hopeless generally - so pray nothing goes wrong with any unit you buy. I've now replaced this unit with a Garmin - one major retailer told me that although they stock Navigon they try to minimise sales as they've had so many problems with defective units. So if you get one that works, great, it's a super unit. If it goes wrong, you're in for trouble.
