Reality View Lite shows roads not as lines, but realistically, with asphalt and road markings. This makes it easier for you to maintain an overview of motorway junctions and exits.
Lane Assistant Pro displays the best lane to take well in advance of the next junction taking into account three, instead of two, subsequent driving manoeuvres – so you won’t need to cut across a multi-lane carriageway at the last minute.

TMC Routing information shows you an alternative route when traffic congestion is announced, with an updated distance calculation and arrival time. You decide if a diversion is worthwhile or if you would like to keep to the original route.
TMC (Traffic Information) comes from the field leaders, Traffic Master, and shows you an alternative route when congestion is announced, with an updated distance calculation and arrival time.
The speed assistant and safety camera tells you the current speed limit and warns you with audio and visual warnings if you exceed speed limits and are near a safety camera.

Clever parking helps you to find a parking spot by displaying nearby parking areas shortly before reaching your destination.
Text-to-Speech

Emergency help tells you within seconds where important locations such as the police, hospitals and more can be found - when it counts.
Smart SpellerSmart speller only shows you letter combinations which actually make sense. Fzoutxh Street and other such nonsense are now a thing of the past.

This review is from: Navigon 4310Max Satellite Navigation System - Europe Traffic Widescreen (Electronics)
I've been a fan of Navigon for some time now, if only because their sat navs are very polite. Rather than 'Turn left in 100yds' it'll say 'Please turn left in 100yds'. Another thing I really like from Navigon is their maps, the road you need to use is highlighted, and the rest of the map uses pale colours. It's much easier to follow when actually driving around.
The screen itself is clearer than most, with sufficient backlighting that it's visible even on very bright sunny days. The speaker is loud enough to be heard over music and roadnoise. The interface has been improved over previous Navigon systems - the information at the bottom of the screen is now white on black (and bigger) which means you can actually read the text now! Battery life could be better, you can probably get 3-4hrs depending on the backlight intensity. The new bracket is very impressive. Like previous Navigon systems you not only have a sucker with a lock (much better than just a sucker), but also a ball-joint for the satnav itself. So you just stick the satnav to the screen, and then tilt and rotate as necessary. It's brilliant in it's simplicity and elegance. The 'reality view' feature is largely pointless, at least on UK roads. All of our junctions are more or less the same, so when the view comes up you can't see the road ahead anymore - a shame since almost all junctions join roundabouts. Fortunately Navigon have fixed that little issue with their previous satnavs (which would only tell you the exit when you're basically on top of the roundabout) by voicing and displaying the exit you need after the junction you need to take. So before you're even on the sliproad, you'll often know exactly where you're going. When you give it a destination, it'll give you up to 3 possible routes and you select the one that best suits your mood at the time. The only problem with this is sometimes the routes can be very similar with only the route within the target city deviating. The map is zoomed out to view the entire profile so you can't see exactly how the routes deviate. Even if the routes are wildly different, you might not know which to pick unless you know the area fairly well since the roads aren't well labelled. Still, it does avoid the hell that you can get from satnavs where it chooses to skip a motorway route and favour country routes (or vice versa) and there's nothing you can do about it. In short, I love it! Really pleased with this satnav and I would highly recommend it to anyone - especially those who like a little bit of etiquette from their satnav.

Have used it in London several times and I am very happy with its performance. We planned a holiday in Europe and we'll review it again when we'll come back!
We've updated the map succesfully and we like it!

I purchased this Satnav from Amazon only few weeks ago and immediately used it on a road trip from UK to France and switzerland. It worked great both with visuals as well as taking me to all places without any confusion.
Highly recommended.
