TMC Routing Info

Traffic warnings are good but intelligent traffic circumnavigation is even better. TMC Routing Info shows you alternative routes and information on the length and duration of the new route compared to the original route. You can then decide whether short traffic congestion might, in fact, be the quicker option after all. Spoken TMC reads congestion announcements out loud so you can’t miss them and they are just as detailed as radio announcements. Text-to-Speech means street names are also spoken out loud ensuring you don’t miss your turning and allowing you to concentrate on the road.

New Pedestrian Navigation

Pedestrians use different routes to drivers and you can use the NAVIGON 2410 instead of a road map to arrive at your destination on foot - a wrist strap is included for comfortable handling. The NAVIGON 2410 can act as a personal city guide - pedestrian navigation will ensure that you get to your destination on foot without any unnecessary detours. Unfamiliar signs can be precisely researched and favourite shops or other sights of interest located. The clear and simple portrait format display provides optimal guidance for pedestrians.

New NAVIGON Last Mile

Because not every destination you enter in your navigation system will have a parking space for your vehicle right outside, NAVIGON lets you park the car and be guided the rest of the way safely on foot. It will also guide you back to the car again later. This works very well in combination with the New NAVIGON Clever Parking, which displays the nearest parking options well before arrival, including detailed information such as prices in some cases. These can then be clicked and selected as a destination.

NAVIGON MyRoutes

Whatever kind of driver you are, NAVIGON MyRoutes recommends the best route adapted for your personal driving style as well as the time and day of the week. Up to two other routes are also offered. The Latest Map Guarantee gives you free downloads of the most up-to-date maps from the NAVIGON Fresh portal for 30 days. The FreshMaps service gives you a further eight map downloads over two years for £79.99.

Lane Assistant Pro

NAVIGON includes important safety features as standard across its whole range including Lane Assistant Pro, which displays the best lane to take well in advance of the next junction taking into account three, instead of two, subsequent driving manoeuvres. This means you won’t need to cut across a multi-lane carriageway at the last minute; Reality View Light, which displays motorway exits not as lines, but realistically with asphalt, road markings and signs; Speed Assistant and Safety Camera, which tell you the current speed limit and warn you with audio and visual warnings if you exceed speed limits and are near a safety camera.
