This is a lovely story. Jaclyn Smith and Tim Mathesson have a real chemistry between them. Unfortunately this film is only available on region 1 and can only be played on multi region dvd players. Never the less, it's a beautiful love story and it also made me laugh in some parts. Well worth watching.

I enjoyed this film very much and I am trying to obtain a copy and would like to read the book too. Could you provide me with the following information.

If the film is based on a book, what is the name and author of the book?

If I buy the DVD will it play on my British DVD player?
