Originally, "Naughty Girl" was supposed to be the first single off the album rather than the alarmingly infectious "Crazy In Love"...
Naughty Girl is a very sexy song accompanied by middle-east-like strings....
The vid features her in a 60's New York backdrop with Usher.
By far one of the hottest trax on the album!
"Naughty Girl" follows a string of hits from Beyonce including; "Me, Myself & I" (#11), "Baby Boy Feat. Sean Paul" (#2), "Crazy In Love Feat. Jay-Z" (#1), the Austin Power's 3 single "Work It Out" (#7) and that *OTHER* Jay-Z collaboration, "03 Bonnie & Clyde" (#2).
"Naughty Girl" is a teasing track built around Donna Summer's erotic "Love to Love You Baby", and the video of the song apparently features Beyoncé flirting with none other than Usher. At this time, it is pretty much unknown which version of the song is being used as the main single cut; although many radio stations have playlisted one of three version - the original album version, the Lil' Kim remix or the Lil' Flip remix.
I like this song, although don't expect much from the album if you haven't got it already. The singles from "Dangerously In Love" are very misleading and perhaps the song which best represents the album is "Me, Myself & I". Songs like "Crazy In Love", "Baby Boy" and "Naughty Girl" have all been released now... you won't find anything else like it on the album. The only other 'good' track on the album is "Hip Hop Star".
