GENERAL INFORMATION
Ancient civilizations, such as Aztecs, Aborigines, Egyptians, Greeks and Romans used ear candling therapy and this traditional practice has been kept alive among Native American and Siberian tribes. This newly rediscovered naturopathic device has proved its efficiency worldwide for more than a decade.
Naturhelix ear candles are hollow cone-shaped devices, hand-made from cotton and dipped in beeswax. Important safety features include a marker line indicating safe burning level, a filter to prevent residue dropping into the ear and a flame-proof protective disc.
RECOMMENDED USE
The candles may be helpful for conditions affecting the head and ear area, such as compacted ear wax, ear aches, sinus problems, colds, heyfever, catarrah, sounds in the ears, headaches, sore throats, pressure problems (with flying or diving), as well offering stress relief.
APPLICATION AND SAFETY
Follow the instructions supplied carefully for safe treatments. Children should not be treated unless they have the ability to lie still during the treatment, and understand they must not attempt to touch the candles during treatment. Not recommeded for use on children under 3.

I have used ear candles for 10 years and recently discovered these candles. The candles are easy to use and feel very comfortable in the ears. The gauze filter at the base of candle is highly effective in that the vapours can circuate around the ear canal but no candle residue is deposited in the ear (which is a big plus point as candle residue can make the ears feel itchy). The candles also burn cleanly so there is no ash falling from the candle.
These ear candles work really well and fit very comfortably in my ears unlike others which I have tried in the past. The safety features are excellent, particularly the gauze filter - in the past my ears have sometimes felt itchy after treatment but not with these. I also like the fact that the cotton and beeswax are both certified organic products and they are good value for money. I have just discovered they do a 5 pair pack too! I use ear candles regularly as I have always had problems with my ears and I find that ear candles help to prevent wax build up and keep the wax from hardening. I am always on the look out for different types of ear candles and Naturhelix ear candles are definitley the best I have found so far.
