Low-dose Vitamin D works for me! 1 Jan 2012

My doctor recommended low dose Vitamin D (I'm a little low, but not majorly deficient.) These capsules are perfect. They're a typical capsule size (about 3/4" long), light as air (thin plasticky-looking shell filled with Vitamin D in a powder form) and are easy for me to swallow with a tiny sip of water.

I would recommend for anyone except:
- If you have a lot of trouble swallowing pills, you can probably find this in a smaller pill-style form.
- If you need a larger dose, you may want to choose something else - larger doses are actually more common.
- If you need a smaller dose than 400 mg, don't buy these. You can't effectively cut them in half without making a mess (they are soft capsules, not hard ones.)

Amazon price is very reasonable, and with my Prime membership, the shipping's fast and free. I'm a repeat buyer of this product.
