A multi that's hard to beat on all levels

It's unfortunate that taste and texture obsession has led many reviewers to underestimate its many positives. For less than a dollar a day, you get the most complete whole foods vitamin supplement on the market which is fibrous and substantial enough to act as an actual meal. If you use it as such on a daily basis (as an on-the-go breakfast, for example), you will easily save the cost of the supplement off of your grocery bill. Great for those trying to diet, great for kids. Whole foods mean better assimilation, shake means more liquid in your diet. Buy it, blend it, drink it, and enjoy better health for less time and money than you are currently investing each day. It's not gourmet fare, but it isn't meant to be. And, to this consumer, it doesn't taste bad at all.

Great Product. But Be Careful When Ordering.

I love the Alive! brand of multi-vitamins and have used the tablet form for years. This brand is the only multi-vitamin product that gives me noticable results and improvement in how I feel.
I appreciate the fact that the vitamins are made from real and whole foods, and not chemicals or synthetics. And in my opinion, the Alive! Whole Food supplement is one of the most complete multi-vitamin products on the market.
The shake mix is an enjoyable way to consume this great product. I make my morning shake by using a blender to combine 1 scoop of Alive! mix, 1 cup of almond milk, 1 cup of ice, and a little bit of stevia for a sweeter taste. Sometimes I also add 2 tablespoons of flax seed meal to add about 4 grams of fiber.
I also like the fact the the shake mix comes in 2 choices of protein: (1) pea and rice protein, and (2) soy protein. I have tried this product in both types of protein, and both taste good.
If you want or need to avoid soy products then be sure to check the shopping cart after selecting this product. On my most recent order, I selected "pea & rice" protein. When I checked the shopping cart I found that the cart had "soy protein" on the order. Luckily, I caught the error, did an immediate cancellation, and then selected a different Amazon ad to get the "pea & rice" protein verison of this product.
I will definitely re-order the Alive! shake mix and continue to use it. I highly recommend it.

I've been using this shake for a while now. It's great! I drink one for lunch every day. I found that mixing it in a glass of lemonade makes a very tasty and satisfying shake. Similar shakes costing three times as much, don't taste any better. Let's face it, kelp and spirolina don't taste good, unless you happen to be a sea urchin or Ling Cod, which is not likely if you are reading this. Just remember, it's not about the taste; it about the nutritional value and this stuff is amazing.
