We love the animal parade products and use the Gold multi vit and the Greenz, thought I would give these a go as I have trouble getting EFA into my 3 year old. All my kids hate the taste of them, thought I would use them up but can't stand them either.
We take other Animal Parade supplements and have had no problems with these at all, I like the fact that they are natural and not loaded with fillers but these are inedible. Neither myself, my husband nor my children could eat them due to the very strong and fishy after taste. It's a shame as it's hard to find good supplements for children that are worth taking.

Dissapointing: Horrific Flavor

I really wanted this product to work out for my daughter (age five). She loves taking the vitamins that have been prescribed by our pediatrician and she never had a problem taking the liquid vitamins that we administered to her when she was a baby. I know the value of DHA (I myself take a huge dose of fish oil daily), particularly for children's growing, malleable minds.
Unfortunately, though, these pills are odious. I'm not just relying on my daughter's assessment; I also tried a few pills. It's hard to put into words what the flavor was like, but if pressed I would say that they tasted like exceptionally old, dried fish that has been weakly masked by a cloying fake-cherry flavor. Also, I'm not speaking as someone who is biased against fish: I love fish and even secretly enjoy the salmon belches that my fish oil pills cause (I think of them as "bonus fish"). Honestly, though, these are beyond unpalatable, they are downright revolting.
I can't recommend another DHA product for your children -- I myself am still shopping around -- but I would urge you to avoid these vitamins. Chances are they will just end up in the rubbish bin.

Horrible!

These things taste HORRIBLE! I don't know how old the kids are who tried it and liked it, but my 8 year old spit it out immediately. I tried it -- Ug! It tastes like a mix of flinstones vitamins and fish...with more fish. Truly awful. I can't believe I spent money on this. I'll try to take it back. I've already sent a note to the company. The Super Fruit one is horrible too.

Great chewable DHA

My son is very particular and he willingly takes these chewable vitamins. He loves the flavor and even asks to take them. They are made to be chewed, not swallowed.
