Nature Babycare disposable nappies are made from renewable and natural materials and keep oil based plastics that traditional nappies are made from away from baby’s delicate skin. The soft cloth-like material which they are made from and the stretchy front fastening tabs along with the comfortable leg gathering enables your child to move freely while wearing the nappy. The absorbent pulp is made from sustainabley harvested Scandinavian forests and the patented centre channel means a less bulky fit while enhancing leak protection. The naturally breathable nature of the nappies, because they are based on GM-free corn, can minimise nappy rash and other irritations so that your baby is healthy and happy. Nature Babycare nappies are 100 per cent chlorine-free and fragrance-free, protecting the environment by not producing harmful dioxin pollution.
The nappies and pull-on pants are over 60 per cent biodegradable in contrast to major brands which are often composed of up to 80 per cent oil-based products which do not decompose easily. Conventional nappies can take hundreds of years to decompose, but because of the high content of biodegradable material, Nature Babycare nappies break down in a fraction of that time, meaning there is less need for landfill or polluting incineration.
Nature Babycare is a Swedish-based company that was founded 15 years ago by a pioneering mum who thought the world deserved a better nappy. Marlene Sandberg was appalled to learn that babies will produce half a ton of nappies every year filling landfill sites. So she sought to create a range of award-winning nappies and baby products which are effective, price competitive and environmentally friendly. The result was Nature Babycare products--good for both babies and the environment.

What these nappies have over other nappies, for me, is the feel of them. They are lovely and soft inside and outside and are lacking that plastic-y feel that is so common in other disposable nappies. These nappies are very plain looking compared to other brands on the market.
These nappies have nice stretchy sides to help with the fit and I have had very little issues with leakages. I've had a few with tabs that pull off but that is prone to happen on many brands so isn't a deal breaker for me and they are quite sticky which is good because I hate it when the tabs just won't stay done up.
These nappies are environmentally friendly so tend to be more expensive than other nappies.

These were not quite as snug as they could have been. Apparently. Our son used them with his little girl and says that they weren't completely dry, with some slight leakage around the legs. The eco-credentials are impeccable, but in use they weren't as effective as we had hoped.

I did expect to receive a pack of terrible nappies that held no liquid and split very easily but I was wrong. I would say that they are not as flexible as the Pampers we usually use but are very close.
It is brilliant to find some environmentally-friendlier nappies that are a suitable alternative to the masss produced makes. Knowing the problems that nappies have in our environment and the numbers of chemicals that get thrown around, it is sometimes difficult to chose disposables over old-fashioned washablse but disposals are far easier to use and most parents end up using them. The price of these is more than fair when you take into account the whole point of them.
We have seen no rashes or marks and they can hold a fair amount. The only negative is that occasionally part of the edge of the nappy tears off, it is still usable but a little annoying.
