The item diffuser very promptly!
I was not disappointed although it looks cheaply made.
It does work well and the tagine which I purchased in Morrocco was in use!
The handle gets very hot and did end up singed but did not catch fire! It has that 'used' look now!

the heat diffuser works really well.
there is only one thing, with a wooded handle when the diffuser (in metal) gets rovent and all heated up, it starts to burn the handle.
after only having used it once the handle fell off as it disintegrated.

The diffuser looks appropriate and is a good size but has several problems: it is flimsy, is not perfectly flat, has very sharp edges around the handle, rusts after one brief wash and, worst of all - during use the wooden handle burns.
