I almost bought this book at the Vitality Show in London this year after hearing Marilyn Glenville's talk. Decided against it as I was already laden with goods to take home. Wished I had now as its packed with advice on diet, supplements and other things designed to ease menopausal symptoms and prevent osteoporosis. She also goes into the pros and cons of HRT, but leaves you to make up your own mind. I keep my ear to ground for the latest health news and thought I knew it all, but Marilyn's book covers things I didn't know. I've now altered my diet as per her advice and have excluded sugar and eat a little more fat and feel a lot better for it. I don't take the (rather expensive) supplements either. So if you're after good advice on managing the menopause (before and after) this book is for you.
