I bought this as a birthday present for my friends 7 year old son, and he loves it. He takes it out with him on every walk and bike ride, just in case - it's great because it fits in his pocket, not mums!!
It's well made, and you can see a long way with it or as in my friend's son case - look at ants, close up!! A great little present - I will be getting another one to put into my son's Christmas socking this year.

Out of all the Christmas pressies my 7 yr old received for Christmas this is the one that gets carried with him everywhere. He's totally into magnifying glasses etc so bought this as a little extra present. It works really well and you can see things from quite a distance.

Cheap and nasty
Despite the Natural History Museum branding this is a waste of money. Any child would soon be put off by the dark and very soft image produced by this toy monocular. Read more
