    Durability:    Educational:    Fun:
My son (5,5 yrs) has always been very interested in animals as well as different countries and is forever asking me questions about how and where they live. I, therefore, felt sure that this animal detective globe game would be a hit at christmas and it was. The game can be played at different levels so not only is my son having a lot of fun with it, my husband and I are also able to tax each other's brains (all in the same game). The inflatable globe is about 60 cms high making all countries as well as animals, fish, birds etc easily recognisable (I found standard childrens globes often too small to be able to pick out any real detail) and the game is obviously very compact once the air has been let out. I can highly recommend this to anyone interested in finding out more about animals and locating them around the world and I am sure that the globe will be useful for generally learning more about geography.

Fantastic educational game where different ages and skill levels can play together using different clues. Good sized globe and pictures of animals are clear. Excellent service.

    Durability:    Educational:    Fun:
Having been an enthusiastic and regular visitor to the Natural History Museum for many, many years, I saw this and knew it would be a good buy. I was not disappointed nor were my daughter and her children, the reasons for the purchase.
The globe itself is fun and makes a very handy adornment in any child's bedroom. That way, they live with the constant reminder of their presence on a sphere in space and, if we are not careful, it can deflate very easily. (Although quite a strong material, care does need to be taken to avoid punctures if mistaken for a football.)
The game itself is fun, challenging and educational in so many ways, not least of which is that families can have fun sitting round the small box and globe conversing with each other without an electronic devise in sight. Learning (and testing) can be (and should be) "fun" is another and learning for its own sake is a worthwhile endeavour.
Although it was purchased as a future game for two grandchildren (two boys three and one) and to support the Natural History Museum in which my family and I have had so many happy days, it has been used to good effect with the three year old and enhanced his interest in animals, not to mention what it has done for his understanding of geography, the solar system and our planet. It can be adapted easily for fun with a wide range of ages. I enjoy it!
I have recently had to buy them a very soft fabric football since I discovered their current and favourite game, accompanied by riotous laughter, is using the globe to throw at each other and I wanted to avoid its being punctured for future use.
A great game well worth the money. Buy it.
