Great quick reference 8 Aug. 2012

I am interested in natural planning from a "crunchy" perspective, i.e. I don't want to use birth control while I am breastfeeding. So I liked the way this book clearly explains natural family planning, charting, avoiding, etc. I used it along with the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility, 10th Anniversary Edition: The Definitive Guide to Natural Birth Control, Pregnancy Achievement, and Reproductive Health and the website of the same name. It does take a while to get the hang of it, but I appreciate having an alternative birth control method. Good luck to you!

If you are interested in learning about NFP, this book contains a wealth of information. Women can also learn about their bodies and how it relates to fertilty--especially after a pregnancy. The Couple to Couple League did a good job putting this book together in a concise manner.

We had used a different book previously, but it did not go into this much detail for the postpartum and we still had a lot of questions. This book made it easy to use and it made perfect sense!

Specifically for the symptothermal method of NFP 23 May 2011

I didn't know a lot about the different types of NFP when I bought this book, and I thought it was a general book for anyone using NFP. I'm sure it is wonderful if you were using the symptothermal method before you were pregnant or if you are interested in learning this method postpartum. Otherwise, this book will not be helpful to you.
