If you want to drop off slowly and calmly, these are great. I'm not a poor sleeper but sometimes go through those periods where I find it difficult to nod off and stay asleep for a good 6 to 8 hours. I go to bed early because I have an early job. So sometimes I am in bed at 8 o'clock. My brain quite clearly doesn't want to go to bed so early and I seem to toss and turn and cat nap all night. But now, when I can "feel" that I can't naturally drop off, I get up and pop two of these. Half an hour later, you're off. And you can get a good night's sleep. Obviously if you are very stressed and have a lot on your mind, they won't work and you'll need the chemical ones. But just for regular, day-to-day problems and worries, these will do the job.
I have to say that I do wake feeling a bit groggy with these but it passes quickly and then, because of the sleep you've had, you'll zip around like crackers mid-morning. They work for me and that's why I wrote this.
